Ambient Light
This is simply your general
source of light. Builders often
include ceiling lights of
some sort in each room.
These ambient lights are
sufficient but not very
attractive, however, they
get the job done.
If a room does not have
the standard ceiling lights
then it's time to bring in
your own Ambient source. You could remodel, hire and electrician to add ambient light, however the
most economical source for Ambient light is a free standing floor lamp called Torcheres or Torchlights.
Similar to an outdoor lamp post but the light is contained by walls. This lamp stands high with the shade of the lamp turned upside down - the widest end directed up. Depending on the size of your room you may need more than one Torchere to create comfortable lighting. Click for next page>
